BASSA
Bassa unites a design language of War of the Worlds style spacecraft and clean Scandinavian aesthetics.
Metal-spun lines remain from its manufacture, giving the viewer a point of reference and intrigue into how it is made. Bassa began from an interest in woodturning, with metal-spinning developing from there, resulting in a merge of sleek form and unashamed evidence of manufacturing process.
MIX Collection, for which Bassa is part of, marks the beginning of Christian and Claudia’s collaboration with esteemed American design brand, Bernhardt Design. Bassa is one of seven occasional table designs encompassed in their and Bernhardt’s new collection, offering an eclectic and sophisticated series of works that bring together an array of creative influences.
Bassa is available through Bernhardt Design, offered in Solid Ash, or Spun Stainless Steel and Spun Brass finishes, using an environmentally-friendly Physical Vapour Deposition process without plating. Diameters of 16”, 20” and 42” are available.
