The Cannoli sofa collection highlights the core wooden elements so often hidden behind upholstery and celebrates the materiality and form it creates. Cannoli challenges the look of traditional sofa construction by externally wrapping the cushioned elements in a bent oak structure.

CANNOLI
PASCO
Generous proportions and a feeling of openness and understanding toward its construction are utilised in this design. The seat and backrest of the chair are cradled by the frame, giving a comfortable character.

ANGUS
Finger joints create a pattern of contrasting wood-grain up the full height of each leg, with the acutely angled slabs allowing space for shadow to become an additional detail.

TERRA
Terra is one of a trio of wooden tables that create Primitive Forms; a project translating the humble nature & processes of working with clay into furniture design.
Terra reflects the cylindrical form, suggestive of the majority of ceramic vessels. Turned from white beech, the piece is then dyed a rich orange-red in reference to the terracotta vessels which inspired the design.
SLAB
Part of Primitive Forms, Slab displays the unadorned, elemental quality of clay, inspired by the traditional ceramic process of slab building. Slab instills a sense of energy with its tip-toe feet.
TOR
Carved and shaped from felled and seasoned wood. Tor displays the organic, malleable & sculptural nature of clay. Tor emulates the soft curves and burnished surfaces of clay in the medium of wood.
BENCH GANG
Bench Gang harmonise the nature of their material with their design. From the unrefined nature of softwood, the Lego-like joints holding the benches together, to the coloured ends & feet inspired by the brightly coloured end grain at timber yards; all these design elements convey characteristics and the excitement of creative play: embracing imperfections & letting the imagination run free.
DYMEN
Mimicking the colossal yet beautiful forms of industrial cooling towers, Dymen brings a pleasant and strangely familiar element of density to a space.

Composed of primary shapes, no element of the design is unnecessary or decorative. Gwyn, is a lightweight and strictly functional table, ideal for supporting a laptop.

Metal-spun lines remain from its manufacture, giving the viewer a point of reference and intrigue into how the piece is made. An interest in woodturning and metal- spinning resulted in a merge of clean Scandinavian aesthetics and unashamed evidence of manufacturing process.

The Coventry Cathedral Chair, designed by Dick Russell and produced by his brother Gordon Russell, was a founding influence for this piece of furniture. Whilst paying homage, we infuse a deconstructed perspective to the original iconic design.

Bowl Gang are a playful family of hand- built ceramics, each piece expressing an individual character through their subtle irregularities resulting from the hand- building and glazing processes.
LANDSCAPES
Landscapes is a series of works displaying viewports of abstract scenes through a limited yet bold palette of primary colour. The hand-punch needle process lends texture and movement to the work, bringing another dimension to the pronounced blocks of colour.

Every aspect of Flatware’s design was carefully considered. Curves, straights and rounds are all balanced to create a form flowing in comfort. Flatware expresses the beauty of an often cheap, overlooked, and unappreciated genre of design we use everyday.
CANNON BOWLS
A series a handformed bowls raised from nickle, brass and copper, expressing each of the materials differing characteristics.
Each bowl sits on a foot crafted from the sheet matieral from which the piece originated.
